Hard Reset

HARD RESET 4 years ago, in Florence (ITA), a friendship was born that lasts and thrives untill now. They decided to give it a name - Hard Reset. Hard Reset is an anthem to friendship. Hard Reset is a music fellowship. Hard Reset is a story to be told, a song to be listened to. The band consists of Sergio Strada (SerJ), Luca Murano (Luc) and Mauro Macchia (Mau). This 3 guys all have their experiences and musical backgrounds, they share similar tastes yet not without differences, they have different music styles and favor different techniques, but one thing bonds them together from the get go: the 'need' to play. This 'need' was manifest soon enough inside makeshift studios, a bit precarious but definitely inspiring, which transformed venting out into fuel. SerJ, vocals and guitars, takes inspiration from the powerful rock and roll of Foo Fighters and from the melacholic tune of Counting Crows and Muse; Mau's drums influences are to be found in great classics: Ramones, MC5 and Queen; Luc is the bass, and one may hear, loud and clear, the footprints of Seattle's grunge scene, together with more recent Deftones, Biffy Clyro and Ministri. Their style, a geometric result between these influences, seems to weave through rock textures, with alternative rock, new wave, post-grunge and post-rock elements On 19, Jun 2015 Hard Reset will release their debut LP "Machinery&Humanity". Sliptrick Records will distribute this 15 tracks LP in Scandinavia, Central Europe, Southern Europe and US. The LP title is inspired to the final speech of "The great Dictator" by Charlie Chaplin. The entire album represents a manifestation of the need for a change ( as world) and growth (as young men ). Now the fun begins. These 3 guys have no clue what's gonna happen.
