The Drop Beers

Weaving a tapestry of poetic nonsense and unnatural behaviour… it’s “the Drop Beers” turning stupidity into art! South
East Queenslands source of unapologetic noise pollution doesn’t take prisoners, it pulls down your pants and slaps
you silly. Combining gritty guitar riffs, intricate drumming and tongue-in-cheek lyricism, the band delivers the
kind of music that demands movement and chaos— and maybe a beer or twenty.
“The Beers” Kicked off in late 2023 on The Sunshine Coast looking to start a new wave of unfiltered larakin-ism at
blistering speeds. This accumulated into the band realising their first EP “Just The Hitz” after which the band went
on a tear of shows with highlights of opening for Battlesnake and C.O.F.F.I.N. Moving forward, the band mates
decided to fuse their form of raw Skate punk and blend it with nu metal techniques, rhythms and breakdowns. This
calculated decision has been forged into a 15 minute, 8 song Album titled “Are You Wearing A Wire???” Produced by
Jason Whalley (Frenzal Rhomb) at the Pet Food Factory. With a East coast tour booked for late this year, “The Beers”
are keen to put these songs on display for the masses to hear and get tinnitus too.
Whenever on stage, at whatever the location, The Drop Beers will always rip you a new one. They thrive in the pure
madness of live performance and only have one speed, GO! With their ever growing catalogue of original music
along with their loyal (and rowdy) fanbase, The Drop Beers are more than a band—they're a unhinged movement.
One beer-soaked anthem at a time.
