About Patrick Mathez
Born and raised in a small village in Switzerland, Patrick Mathez discovered his passion for music and technology early on. At just 14 years old, he started DJing at youth events – first warming up, then as the main act. Soon after, he began organizing his own events under the name DJ Future.
At 18, he finally entered the club scene and quickly gained a reputation across Switzerland. He became a regular at venues like Sky Club and D-Light, and hosted legendary label nights at Blächbar, Techno Bar, and Rotzloch.
Between 1998 and 2005, Patrick played over 200 shows, including international gigs in Spain, Cyprus, and the UK, and appeared several times at Street Parade Zurich. One of his biggest events was Terminal B, a sold-out birthday party with over 3,500 guests, featuring DJ Tatana, Noise, Energy, Nonsdrome, and more.
In 2005, he stepped away from the scene for family and career reasons – but Trance remained his true love. After visiting Transmission Prague in 2020, he reignited his passion for uplifting trance and began producing again in his home studio.
In 2023, with more freedom and a fresh mindset, Patrick Mathez returned – with a new name, new energy, and professional focus.
By 2024, he had refined his mixing on Pioneer gear, built strong industry connections, and started performing again. In June 2025, he launched his own event brand:
🎶 Sanctuary of Trance – a club night series featuring top national and international acts.
