“The Old 395’s first single “The Word” is a throwback sonic experience reminiscent of the late 60’s folk revival.Somewhere between early Dylan, Rolling Stones and Doc Watson.

This tune combines five string banjo, pedal steel guitar with rock ‘n’ roll drums and bass, tastefully surrounding the honest yet playful lyrics of Charlie Marks.

His unique voice effortlessly cutting through the honkytonkin high desert musical atmosphere that reflects the bands life out on the road and home on their ranch just north of Reno Nevada”
