About Zilqy
A four-piece band consisting of Anna (Vo.), Toki (Gt./ex. Aldious), Miho (Ba./ex. LOVEBITES), and Kano (Dr.). Proclaiming themselves as a "Global All-Female Metal Band from Japan," they set out to challenge the Western metal scene through the universal language of metal. Blending Western rock soundscapes with Japanese melodic sensibilities, and fusing grooves of electronic music, they forge their identity as pioneers of "Post-Melodic Nu Metal," carving a path to the world stage. The bilingual singer Anna delivers a soaring, expressive voice, riding over the heavy and powerful sound unleashed by Toki, Miho, and Kano—resonating far beyond the seas. The band's name derives from Zilch (nothing) + Queen (sovereign), symbolizing "a queen who belongs to no one, yet can be everyone's queen." With this spirit, Zilqy envisions a future where they reign on the global stage, guiding all who gather at their shows. On November 5, 2025, they will release their first EP, Vacant Throne. On December 10, 2025, they will hold their inaugural live performance. In the winter of 2025, Zilqy's uprising begins— marching toward the long-vacant throne.
