The name Whiskey Jack pays homage to the grey jay, a clever and curious bird found in the boreal forests and subalpine zones of North America. In a landmark year, Whiskey Jack released his second EP Extra Luck, was handpicked by Angus & Julia Stone for the Wild Turkey House of Music mentorship programme in Sydney, and took home the 2025 WAM Country Song of the Year for his single Wild Card.
