Second Base

Hello! My name is Stormi Griffith, and for the last four years I've been making music as Second Base. Before 2022, I wrote songs both on my own and alongside my high school peers. I saw what acts like Wallows and The Backseat Lovers were doing, and needed to get a taste of it for myself. Since then I've hit the ground running, with songwriting being the firm foundation I always return to. Music is my source of stability, a map to navigate the anxieties of growing up and living. Reigning from the DFW area, I've made frequent rounds in the TX indie rock scene. There’s nothing better than the feeling of walking into a room of strangers and getting that chance to make them feel something, or at least have fun, and that's what I channel into each and every live show. For me, that is what makes music so special. With Second Base’s debut EP “Last December” already out, there's still so much to come from this passion project of mine, and I cannot wait for you to see it.
