About Freight
Teenage best mates FREIGHT have released their second single “The Only Thing I Know” in the middle of what has already been an incredibly busy summer for the Warrington based band - A summer in which Freight have graced the stage alongside album chart-toppers The K’s at Newton Festival last weekend, fresh off the back of slots at Stranger Ways Festival and Together Again Festival.
The Only Thing I Know as a song is about the youthful awkwardness of approaching young love and having the courage to make the first move and make your intentions known. "The song is based around a stereotypical ‘lads night’ and not having the courage to go and talk to her” states Luka on the song, “I’d just watched the film Superbad at the time so really wanted to try and capture some of that awkwardness in a song, and I think it’s subconsciously turned out to be a bit of a love song too.”
"It’s a song we love to play live and has a real sing-along feel to it” reflects the frontman about Freight’s second release from their forthcoming debut EP “Kaleidoscope” which is due for release on October 8th.
