Alex Mosylat, normally known as V3NJA, (born 11 August 2001) is a Malawian singer, songwriter, and performer known for his emotionally rich Afrobeat sound and storytelling rooted in Malawian urban life. Born in Blantyre and originally from Thyolo, V3NJA blends Afrobeats, Afropop, R&B, and raw street soul, building his own sonic identity from the heart of Southern Africa.

V3NJA isn’t just a vocalist — he’s also a cinematographer and storyteller. After joining Brilliant Film Lab in 2020, he worked as a videographer, scriptwriter, and video editor, shaping his unique approach to visuals and music video direction.

His visuals are often raw, cinematic, and spiritual — mirroring his life growing up in Soche, Blantyre, where he first discovered music at age 12. The death of his father in 2015 only deepened his hunger to create meaningful, lasting art.
