GRiMMoRTaL

Grimmortal began with a bunch of angst-ridden, post-punk teenagers from bombay suburbs trying their hands on distorted instruments in the summer of 2009 with a singular aim to play some in-your-face extreme metal. The band experienced a multitude of emotions that emerged from the unavoidable "write - compose - compete - record - tour - dissolve - introspect" flow, with a seemingly undying desire to play heavy music, learning lessons and somehow thriving along the way. The long hiatus since 2014 helped the band realise the need to surpass the typical sound associated with metal, the prevalent methodical songwriting approach and the insufficient capability of conventional music to aid the listener to explore further.
