At 22 years old, Danny Chaska has made an undeniable mark on the underground hip-hop scene with his signature sound—a seamless blend of jazz-infused instrumentals and laid-back, introspective lyricism. His debut project, Vicetown, created in collaboration with close friend and fellow artist Hal Shallo, serves as a vivid reflection of their shared upbringing in Oxford. The album explores the vices and experiences that shaped their journey, with standout tracks like ‘Madrid’ earning widespread acclaim and amassing over 3.5 million streams on Spotify.

A true multi-instrumentalist, Chaska’s musical prowess spans drums, guitar, bass, and piano—all of which play a key role in shaping his distinctive style. While his background includes years of live performances with various bands, his debut solo show as Danny Chaska took place in March 2023 at London’s iconic Old Blue Last, presented by Revolt magazine.

Since then, Chaska has been captivating audiences across the England. Highlights include his first headline show with a live band at Hootananny Brixton in August 2023, a full band performance at Forwards Festival in August 2024, headlines at The Forge and The Jam Jar (Bristol), as well as a sold-out support slot in Leeds . These solo shows come alongside performances as an guitarist/ dummer for Oscar Grouch, Narrisha, Jorj Sabio, Luke RV and DreamBoat to name a few.
