About Julia Hutchinson

Julia Hutchinson is a Nashville-based performing artist and songwriter blurring the genre lines of country, pop, and folk. The Boston native fell in love with music after starting piano lessons at age five, taking inspiration from artists such as Elton John and The Beatles. Her distinct sound has been described as Gracie Abrams pop meets country music. Since moving to Nashville in 2021, she has performed in venues such as 3rd & Lindsley, The Bluebird Cafe, and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Apart from her own releases, her adaptive and diversified writing style has landed her multiple artist cuts and features in short films. Julia further honed her craft after being accepted into the 2024 Johnny Mercer Writer’s Project hosted in Nashville. She is currently working on an EP to be released in spring 2025 and training for a half marathon. Julia is excited to continue breaking the barriers of country/pop music with her powerful vocals and compelling storytelling.
