The Head Trips is a rock band hailing from Youngstown, Ohio. The current lineup of the band consists of Lance Batton (bass & vocals), Chris Vivo (drums & vocals), and recently new member Emory Shrock (guitar & vocals). Whether it be in the studio or onstage, the sound of The Head Trips combines raw, primal forces with an overall reflective sense of contemplation. This clashing energy results in performances that are meant to provoke the emotional highs, lows, and spaces in between from both the performers and listeners alike. The music and ethos of The Head Trips calls for a collective consciousness in which we all share in the musical experience as one community. Each and every one of us has a journey that we go on in our lives. The point is to get going, and to take the trip together.
