About Hiroe
Hiroe, pronounced "hero-way," is a dynamic instrumental post-rock band from the
outskirts of Philadelphia, originally founded as a channel for creative catharsis during
the 2020 pandemic lockdown. Comprised of an experienced lineup who’d already spent
years touring with post-rock legends such as Caspian, Rosetta, and The Appleseed Cast,
Hiroe quickly evolved into a formidable force within the scene, and has been gaining
momentum ever since.
Building on the groundwork laid by influences like Radiohead, Mogwai, Isis, Sunny Day
Real Estate, Deftones and beyond, Hiroe has already achieved significant milestones,
with their debut album, Wrought
—
produced by Mario Quintero (Spotlights/Ipecac),
mixed by Matt Bayles (Isis, Russian Circles), and mastered by Will Yip (Caspian, Circa
Survive)
—
garnering significant critical acclaim and earning them a coveted invitation
to perform at North America's biggest post-rock festival, Post Fest.
Currently signed to Pelagic Records, Hiroe's momentum is at an all-time high as they put
the finishing touches on their sophomore album, "Wield," once again produced and
mixed by Mario Quintero, with mastering by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna). Continuing
to refine their sound and share their immersive soundscapes with an ever-expanding
audience, Hiroe are poised to make a significant contribution to the post-rock canon
over the years to come.
