About The 5to8s
5to8s is a groove collective made up of some of the most seasoned musicians, singers, and rappers from Copenhagen and Malmö. For over 15 years, we’ve been creating unique musical experiences through improvisation, freestyle rap, and a fusion of hip hop, soul/neo-soul, reggae, and funk. Since 2006, we’ve held regular residencies at venues like Ideal Bar, Barbarellah, Café Mandela, H15, and Drop Inn. Our concerts are a musical playground where the audience becomes part of the creative process.
