YACOVELLI is a "Nu York" Neo-Grunge/Punk/Alt Rock band fronted by Alex Yacovelli (Songwriter & DIY Producer) of former outfits Rich N Pretty and Not Your Queen’s English. No stranger to the suburban garage studio, YACOVELLI’s music encapsulates a raw, indie rock drive & energy.

A longtime resident of Hell’s Kitchen, Alex brings years of urban performance experience and flair to the project. A fixture in the New York scene since the late 2000s, he’s notched incredible milestones— including sharing the stage with Weezer at their legendary Madison Square Garden debut. His songwriting skills also earned him an Honorable Mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, alongside Meghan Trainor (Pop category). His NYU Ultraviolet Live talent competition performance (with Darrell Dumas) was praised by host Perez Hilton.

Live gigs have included: Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, Arlene’s Grocery, Bitter End, and 107.1 The Peak’s Pleasantville Music Festival.
