Kailey Watson

Kailey, (pronounced KY-LEE), was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Her father, a music teacher, began teaching her guitar when she was seven years old. Although she was left handed and always had a hard time finding a variety of guitars, she picked it up quickly along with piano and singing. She had a natural ear and her voice was mature beyond her age. Her mom would sign her up for voice competitions and auditions online during the Covid-19 pandemic which gave her more experience and grew her confidence.

Now, Kailey performs locally and has a loyal online following. She is most known for her song writing and original songs. Inspired by artists like Noah Kahan, Mazzy Star, and Gracie Abrams; her style is a mix of indie-folk and indie-pop with hints of country and soul.
