Swaul Pope is a musical entity created by Paul Swope. Its goofy, soulful, electric, exciting, dynamic, funny, deep, and cathartic. Blending folk, jazz, blues, funk, punk, and comedy, Swaul Pope plays often solo or with a band in Texas, Nebraska, and Colorado, and other places too. The live performances are always enchanting and hard hitting. There is often a whole band with a choir. It has kind of an Edward Sharpe meets Hozier and Shakey Graves vibe.
