About Crash The Net

Crash The Net is a pop punk power trio hailing from Danville, New Hampshire consisting of Tim (guitar, vocals), Seth (bass, vocals) and Carter (drums). The three are childhood friends who have been learning and playing music together since elementary school. Throughout their teenage years, they played covers of their favorite bands at local venues under their original band name Fatal Force, passed down from Seth’s father who played in a band under the same name. However, in 2022 they rebranded to the name Crash The Net, which better fit their sound and mission.

To “Crash the net” refers to a hockey term in which the offensive players rush the goalie after a shot on net to try and get a rebound shot and disrupt the goalie’s focus. This strategy is often used as a last-ditch effort to score when there are only minutes left in the game. Crash The Net is a last-ditch concerted effort by Tim, Seth, and Carter to carry out their childhood dreams of releasing their own music and playing it for people all over the world.

Crash The Net can be described as a mix of early 2000’s punk rock, pop punk, rock, and even metal-adjacent. Their influences come from some of their favorite bands such as Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Four Year Strong, A Day to Remember, and more. Between Carter’s infectious drum lines, Tim’s unrestrained guitar riffs and vocals, and Seth’s bass lines and vocals reminiscent of emo bands past, Crash The Net is a band with serious longevity, talent, and heart.
