About Bella Rayne

Bella Rayne
MEET BELLA RAYNE | GUITARIST
18 year old Bella Rayne is a self-taught guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, born in the mountains of North Carolina and raised in coastal Mendocino, California, whose bold blend of jam band energy, Southern-tinged rock, ’90s grunge grit, and psychedelic spirit is rapidly capturing attention across the U.S.
Her journey began during the pandemic, when boredom led her to resurrect an old Stratocaster she found in her garage. She fixed it up, learned to play by ear, and quickly found her voice — melding influences from rock, Americana, bluegrass, and the jam-band legacy into something deeply her own.
Despite her young age, Bella has already shared the stage with seasoned artists and respected bands. Appearances alongside Allman Betts Family Revival, Melvin Seals & JGB, ALO, Jackie Greene, Oteil Burbridge, and members of Terrapin Family have all added to her early résumé PLUS she was touted as “one to watch” by her idol, Susan Tedeschi in Guitar World Magazine.
One of the most iconic moments of her rising career: she was entrusted to play the legendary guitar known as “Alligator” — once wielded by Jerry Garcia. That honor, courtesy of Grateful Guitars Foundation, has become a defining chapter in Bella’s journey.
Bella has formed her own project, Bella Rayne Band — a high-energy, guitar-driven ensemble featuring a young lineup of seasoned musicians. Their sets are a blend of soulful Southern-rock, modern Americana and Grateful Dead reinterpretations plus their own originals, earning increasing demand across venues and festivals.

Fantastic set by an incredible group of musicians! Amazing covers with their own flare, but honestly the highlights were the original songs "higher ground" and "the fool"! First time seeing live, but have been and will continue to follow closely. Can't wait to see again!
