MURINA

Murina, meaning 'growl' in Finnish, perfectly reflects the raw energy and attitude of their music. Born in Barcelona in 2019, this project emerged from the friendship and sonic experimentation of two new friends. Their creative universe extends beyond music, encompassing the production of music videos and graphics, fueling a DIY and personal imagery that complements their sonic world. With Martina on bass, Laura on drums, and the recent addition of Iñigo on guitar, the band delivers a raw and visceral sound, yet also sweet and melodic. An explosive mix of grunge, noise rock, and captivating melodies, rich in references to the alternative rock scene and rock of all time. However, Murina doesn't limit themselves to a single style, but shapes their sound according to their tastes and influences of the moment, giving rise to a spontaneous and multifaceted creative wave. After three EPs, Murina surprises us this year with their first LP, to be released in the spring of 2025 by La rubia Producciones.
