About Butcher’s Curse
Butcher's Curse from Västerås, Sweden plays a mix of Swedish death, thrash, punk rock and black metal. The riffs are always at the center of the music and the lyrics mix genre-typical topics such as satanic worship, sex and alcohol with real historical events of people driven to cannibalism or worked to death by ruthless state apparatuses.
Butcher’s Curse was founded in 2023 and released their first EP ”Graveland” in 2024 followed by a music video for their latest single ”Shortest Straw”. 2025 is shaping up to be a big year for Butcher’s Curse with new music in the works and a bunch of shows already lined up. Notably, the band earned the opening spot at Bulgasal Metalfest this summer by winning a competition for independent bands.
