With a passion for heavy, heart-wrenching music, Ter Ziele joined forces at the end of 2020 to put
their spin on the doom genre. Through heavy, desolate riffs, fragile melodies, and poignant vocals,
the band explores the boundaries of doom metal while implying their affinity for post- and black
metal.
After the release of two singles in 2022 and numerous domestic and international shows—including
festivals like Into The Grave, Soulcrusher, Into The Void, and Roadburn Offroad—Ter Ziele has made
an intense and powerful impression as their unique sound continues to resonate.

“Embodiment of Death” is the culmination of extensive revising and perfecting of what
Ter Ziele initially envisioned. Following a successful collaboration with Stijn van Gestel, the decision
was made for him to oversee the production and mixing of the debut album, while JB van der Wal
(Gaerea, Herder, Ortega, Verwoed) handled the mastering. Supported by Tartarus Records, this highly
anticipated album is set for release in spring 2025, showcasing the vast versatility of Ter Ziele.
