About A Knight Under Maria's Altar
By using Metalcore and Deathcore as a vessel, the collective A Knight Under Maria’s Altar raises
awareness about the concerning state of the current world, with a specific focus on individuals.
Through their music, they aim to break taboos and help people find the strength to fight back. They
believe in the infinite potential of every individual. Their goal is to create an environment where this
can be realized, not only for the members of the collective but for the community as a whole.
With the combined efforts of more than 20 musicians, creatives, and music professionals, they made
a strong first impression with their debut album Heresy Of Horror. Thanks to their active social media
strategy, which has already generated more than 4 million views, their musical versatility and lyrical
depth were rewarded with over 200.000 streams within in their first year.
Rockportaal stated: "While listening to Heresy Of Horror, comparisons can often be drawn to the
glory days of Roadrunner United and Metal Blade, or bands like All Shall Perish and the earlier Fit for
an Autopsy and Whitechapel albums."
Although they have only played a handful of shows, they have already shared the stage with names
such as Another Now and Torn from Oblivion. In 2023, they were selected for the Rockcircus Talent
Tour Brabant.
To further expand their mission beyond music, they facilitate the development of new talents within
their collective at every show, and they aim to continue doing this.
Expect new faces and high energy, because A Knight Under Maria’s Altar is here to stay.
