About Breakwaters
Breakwaters is a four-piece metalcore band consisting of Malte Hölscher, Nils Orlowski, Moritz Manns and Marvin Schäfer. Their music, inspired by bands such as Currents, Polaris and Wage War, combines aggressive verses and breakdowns with melodic choruses. Lyrically, they deal with personal challenges, existential questions and hope. Their first single “Hell (I Let The Devil In)” was released in October 2022 and quickly found its way onto several Spotify playlists. The second single “Anxiety” quickly reached 5000 streams. They are currently working on their first EP, whose first single “Lucid” was released in September 2024.
