About DaviT

DaviT (Dave van den Dries) is a Dutch producer and musician who composes electronic, experimental, and organic music with a strong focus on analog and modular synthesizers. His work exists in the space between precision and noise, structure and distortion, creating layered textures and minimal sonic structures.
DaviT is involved in various conceptual music projects and interdisciplinary collaborations. He worked with creative director Antoine Kroes on Hear Me, an innovative multimedia dance performance for the deaf and hard of hearing, for which he composed the music and developed an interactive sound template. Under the name Patch & Tweak, he organizes sound bath concerts and provides live musical accompaniment for the dance collective IID (Intimate Identity Development).
As a session musician, DaviT has contributed to albums by artists such as Wende, The Time Bandits, a Balladeer, Dishking, and Oscar Benton. Since his first release in 2018, he has put out over 25 tracks, including Silhouette, a remix of Bill Kiley’s Katana ZERO (Original Soundtrack Remixes).
In 2025, he releases VELD, a collaboration with renowned jazz pianist Jeroen van Vliet. This project blends atmospheric electronic textures with expressive piano compositions, creating an immersive listening experience reminiscent of the works of Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
VELD will be released as a limited-edition cassette, featuring a hand-printed screen print of the original artwork, making it a unique collector’s item.
DaviT continues to push the boundaries of sound and composition, seamlessly merging digital and acoustic elements in innovative ways.
