About Hot Hail!
Hot Hail!
The solo project of Seattle songwriter Billy Sigil (they / them), Hot Hail! combines classic Synthpop sensibilities, modern Darkwave maximalism, and fierce Post-punk politics to create a powerful synthesis of the unsettling and the compassionate that keeps the darkness danceable and the horror cathartic.
"This is the sound of modern darkwave, and it’s as exciting as it can get. "
- New Noise Magazine
“Like lightning in a jar of blood. In Hot Hail!’s deft hands, pop delivers both pleasure and political provocation. If you’re looking for the musical zeitgeist in these troubling times, Hot Hail! delivers.”
