About Kojak

Kojak
Kojak
Kojak sprang out of Prince Edward County, Ontario in 2018 with their debut EP “Mac’s Place”—a raw introduction built on hard rock riffs, trading guitars, and a locked-in rhythm section. They’ve since released two full-length albums, “Sure” (2022) and “Kojak” (2024), pushing their sound into roots, pop, and blues without losing the grit. Their influences run wide (The Black Keys, The Raconteurs, Wilco, Led Zeppelin, Tyler Childers), but show up less as imitation and more like familiar ghosts in the room.

Founding members Donny Tait (vocals, guitar), Mitchell Cory (drums), and Harry Tammel (bass) share a chemistry forged over more than a decade of playing together. More recently, Ian Roantree (keys) and Claud Northey (guitar) have joined up, bringing new depth and direction to the band’s evolving sound.

Kojak has been busy in 2026, recording a new EP with Jay Emmons of The Glorious Sons for a fall release, while simultaneously carving out time in their home studio to self-produce a more experimental record.
