First time seeing swedish models, the record is really good, but that live show was really high energy. Caught the first two songs by breaks, who sounded good too, but had to get up early. 5 star show.

About The Swedish Models
The Swedish Models are a Southern California-based indie band whose members include Andrew Bernhardt (vocals, guitar, pianos, pedal steel), Andrew McNally (vocals, drums, guitar, keys) Dustin Paul (vocals, drums, guitar, keys) and Chad Pittman (bass). They have a remarkable approach to radiating fuzzy tones, dirty drums and swirling harmonies directly into the hearts of the tasteful sound connoisseur.
The Swedish Models encompass nano-elements of artists like Radiohead, Built to Spill, Wilco, Strokes, Beach Boys, Tame Impala, Kinks, Walkmen, Parquet Courts, Pavement, Guided by Voices, The Who, Black Keys, Spoon, Velvet Und- (you get the point); and toss them in a blender with organic superfoods, nitrous oxide and the subconscious fear of clowns.
Their 13-song 2019 genre-hopping album, Extra Credit, was recorded at Earthling Studios with guest players including Brian Reilly, Matt Costa and Mike Kamoo.
The bands songs cover just about every nook of the rock and roll pantheon. Bouncing keys, crunchy chords, soaring guitar solos, smart harmonies, and that rare attack of two drummers sharing one kit. If a comparison were to be drawn, it would be to the late 60s/early 70s incarnation of the Kinks. -San Diego Reader
Listening to the Swedish Models makes me miss eras I never even experienced. Swirling in vintage vocal distortion, dreamy harmonies, and classic rock n roll, this is Beach Boys meets Buddy Holly meets The Mamas and The Papas. Cue nostalgia. -Lauren Kershner from the San Diego City Beat
