About Baecker
With the guitar as his compass, Baecker explores the boundaries between fingerstyle, folk and his classical roots. Baecker started playing the guitar at the age of ten, followed by his first gigs at the age of 14. Today, he creates his compositions in a small studio in the Lüneburg Heath (northern Germany), a natural landscape that invites him to compose and experiment. Some of the productions have already appeared in short films and documentaries in recent years, and five pieces for acoustic guitar have been released since 2024.
Influences and formative experiences were his encounters with Peter Finger, Will Ackermann and Andy Mckee, who have had a great influence on his creative path. This usually leads him deep into the world of experimental tunings, which give his pieces a very unique atmosphere.
