SUB was formed in Bandung at the end of 2024, emerging as part of a new wave of alternative music that blends influences from various genres such as grunge, shoegaze, and post-hardcore, shaping a musical identity filled with heavy guitar distortion, dark atmospheres, and ethereal vocals. Merging the raw power of grunge with the atmospheric depth of shoegaze, and the textured, dark experimentation of post-hardcore.
