About Evan Suiter
Evan Suiter had an interest in music at a young age and started performing professionally around age thirteen. He studied music in college and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Music Education. He continued his musical exploration at Victor Wooten's Center for Music and Nature outside of Nashville, TN. As a student and staff member he had the opportunity to learn from many of the center's regular instructors including world class and Grammy Award winning musicians like Chuck Rainey, Jeff Coffin, Steve Bailey, and Victor Wooten.
As a professional educator Evan has spent many years teaching music ranging from private lessons, group classes, non-profit/public school to instructing at the college level. He has over 25 years performing experience covering many styles such as jazz, country, Latin, funk, classical, and rock/pop. He has been fortunate to perform with many world-renowned musicians - accompanying artists such as Wayne Bergeron, Bob Mintzer, Joseph Wooten, Tito Puente Jr., Bob Dorough (Schoolhouse Rock), The Drifters, KJ Denhert, John Graves, Bobi Wine, Delbert Anderson, and Chevel Shepherd.
Evan is currently based out of the beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado area and offers freelance musician services while also serving as music director and bassist for Chevel Shepherd (winner of NBC's The Voice) as well as touring and recording bassist for Delbert Anderson Quartet.
