Jake Slay

Jake Slay is a Red Dirt singer-songwriter raised in the far reaches of the West. Born into a family of musicians, Jake picked up his first guitar at 7 years old, though he didn’t fully embrace music until February of 2023. Drawing inspiration from his favorite Red Dirt artists, classic rock ‘n’ roll, and a lifetime of Western roots, Jake set out to carve his own musical path.

Jake has developed a sound that's uniquely his own—one that doesn’t fit neatly into any single category. "We’re not exactly sure where we fall, but we know one thing: we like it heavy, we love to rock, and at the end of the day, we're just some country boys." A move closer to Nashville was an obvious step for this emerging artist, despite the city's tendency to overlook rock and roll. Undeterred, Jake is making his mark with an unapologetic, laid-back attitude that keeps audiences intrigued and coming back for more. His music resonates with fans of all ages and backgrounds, and his goal is simple: to connect with them all.
