SpaceAcre were brilliant, Cherry was adorable with a great voice. The last band was interesting, but a bit convoluted and not to my taste. The venue was very good - a really nice pub with a good sized music room hidden by a wall-to-wall bookcase with secret doors. The sound was perfect.

These are surely going to be big. Pop/rock with an ethereal feel by musicians who can really play - and a lead who can really sing.
They overcame a few sound problems not of their making to put on a slick show for those who bothered to come out.
Decent student venue but few of the attendees were students.
And I thought Brighton was a student town.
