Soo Joo Park rose to prominence through the last decade fronting multiple Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure and W Magazine worldwide covers. Park was the first Asian model to be awarded global ambassador for L’Oreal, and an exclusive face of Chanel.

However she’s not just a supermodel.

For Soo Joo, music is placed heads and shoulders above all other mediums as it exists as both an introspective, intimate practice as well as being a universal catalyst for humans to connect with each other. She has quietly written and composed music over the years, jotting melodies and lyrics down whenever time allowed, to DJing for Chanel, Canada Goose, and many others. These two roles came to a turning point when she had the opportunity to perform live on the runway for the Chanel Métiers d’Art 2021/2022 show.

Fast forward to 2025, and with the release of No Ghost on UK tastemaker label LUCKYME®, Park is reclaiming herself. While on the surface, these are songs of love or loss, Park’s intention was to capture all the feelings and emotions that come when trying new things in life. The songs are all a little scared, a little excited, tender, intimate and naive. They are learning as they go, and they are trying their best, but they are out there now, so they are relieved.
