Deadscape

Deadscape is a six-piece melodic death metal band, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Even though it was originally founded in late 2015 by lead guitarist Ivan Bratoev and bassist/clean vocalist Alexander Trifonov, the band’s real journey began in 2019, after the addition of drummer Ivan Kolev, rhythm guitarist Ani Dimitrova and harsh vocalist Mirela Kaneva to the line-up and Deadscape has been an active part of the local metal scene ever since.
On January 14th the outfit released their debut album “Of The Deepest Shade”, mixed and mastered by the world-renowned producer Dan Swanö.
Since the release, Deadscape has performed numerous shows, including all the biggest metal festivals in Bulgaria, and has been selected as the opening act for names such as Draconian, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Omnium Gatherum, Kataklysm, Soilwork, Bullet For My Valentine, Sirenia. In 2023 Edgar Monreal joined the band as keyboardist and
second clean vocalist.
In 2024 Deadscape returned to the studio and recorded their second album. Titled “State Of Decline”, the record was mixed and mastered at Kohlekeller Studios, Germany, by Kai Stahlenberg and released on August 23rd.
