Austin Road

Austin Road are a four piece melodic metalcore band from Glastonbury, Somerset.

Formed at the end of 2023, the band offers a range of heavy riffs and emotional breakdowns whilst boasting impactful, melodic, hard hitting vocals. They take inspiration from every day life and experiences within that, from subjects such as the global climate challenge to personal relationships.
All members find their passion for music through a shared belief in following what you want to do in life, through the thick and thin of having families, jobs and everything in between as well as the importance of being able to express yourself and having an outlet in this busy world everyone finds themselves in these days.

All band members were in bands as long as 10-12 years ago around the Somerset area, 3 of which were in the same band. Whilst music was put to the side-lines for those three for many years, they found themselves in the same band for a while in 2023 and when that project fell through, they decided that they didn’t want to let it go again. That is when Austin Road was formed. Their first single was featured on BBC Radio One Introducing with Alyx Holcombe.

With only three singles currently released, they offer a variety of new music for 2025 including three singles and an E.P towards the end of the year with at least one music video for the first single.
Throughout the tracks currently released, the main musical theme is emotionally melodic metalcore. Whilst the songs vary inside the wider range of metalcore available today, the direction of new music to come this year is a far more focused version, leaning heavily on the melodically heavy aspects of modern progressive metalcore.
