Operation Big Jake Bosstone

Operation Big Jake Bosstone (OBJB) are Melbourne's ultimate celebration of the golden age of 90s ska punk, delivering a high-energy live show that captures the spirit of the third wave ska explosion. Packed with infectious horn lines, huge singalong choruses and enough upstrokes to keep any dance floor moving, OBJB recreate the soundtrack of an era when ska ruled the airwaves, the skate parks and every warped tour parking lot.

Featuring both male and female lead vocals, Operation Big Jake Bosstone bring fresh energy and authenticity to the songs that defined a generation. Their setlist is a non-stop party of ska punk classics, paying tribute to legendary artists including The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, No Doubt, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, Rancid, Save Ferris, The Interrupters, The Toasters, Hepcat, Mustard Plug, The Specials and many more.

Whether it's the anthemic gang vocals of The Impression That I Get, the irresistible hooks of Sell Out, the ska-pop brilliance of No Doubt or the punk-infused energy of Goldfinger and Rancid, every song is performed with passion, precision and an unmistakable love for the music that inspired a movement.

Made up of experienced musicians with a genuine appreciation for ska, punk and everything in between, OBJB don't simply play the songs. They recreate the atmosphere of a 90s ska club show where dancing is compulsory, singalongs are inevitable and every audience member becomes part of the party.

Perfect for festivals, clubs, breweries, pubs and special events, Operation Big Jake Bosstone deliver over two hours of horn-driven nostalgia that appeals to lifelong ska fans while introducing a new generation to one of music's most joyful genres.

If you remember checkerboard Vans, wallet chains and picking up your friends in the pit, you'll feel right at home. If you don't, you'll soon discover why the 90s ska explosion remains one of the most entertaining chapters in modern music.

Operation Big Jake Bosstone are more than a tribute band. They're a full-scale ska party, keeping the sound, energy and community of the 90s alive, one skank at a time.
