Lucca Mae

Lucca Mae is one of the most compelling new voices to emerge from London’s soul
scene — rooted in old-school rhythm & blues, her music carries the warmth and
nostalgia of another era while speaking unmistakably to the present.
With a natural magnetism and a stage presence well beyond her years, Mae has a rare
ability to draw an audience into her world. There’s a playful wit and unfiltered charm to
Lucca that echoes the spirit of Amy Winehouse — effortlessly funny, fiercely authentic
and impossible to ignore.
Her artistry has already caught the attention of legendary brothers Alan White (Oasis)
and Steve White (Paul Weller), with Steve White featuring on her self-produced debut
album
The Truth Is
— a remarkable endorsement for an emerging artist. The album has
received strong radio support from BBC Radio London’s Gary Crowley and KCRW’s Chris
Douridas in the USA, among many others.
At the heart of Lucca Mae's sound it is her voice that leaves a lasting impression, warm
and weathered around the edges, yet remarkably delicate in its phrasing.
