About Valley of Despair
Valley of Despair is an independent Canadian metal band blending together the captivating melodies and hooky choruses found in modern rock with the speed and precision of power metal. VoD's sound emphasizes clean vocals with added growls for grit & texture, intricate guitar solos and driving bass lines.
Valley of Despair released their debut EP “Burn At The Stake” to all streaming platforms on November 29th 2024. The title track off the record charted on the Earshot CFUR Top 30 chart and has been recently featured on local Edmonton radio station 100.3 The Bear. The band has plans to continue tearing up stages across western Canada and to write a full length album in 2025.
