About Bleak Monday

„This band will be like NIN was in the 90s in six months from now! This is the best thing
I’ve found since Kurt Cobain blew his way out!“ [YouTube]

„Imagine Doktor Avalanche actually being a Human, a Sound Wizard living in Kitaro's
Castle of Electronics, pushing Buttons, turning Knobs and hitting a drum pad to the tune of
1984. Imagine Andrew Eldrich and Martin L Gore having a love child and she has Martin's
Looks and Andrew's voice. Top with a Flying V Metal Guy...voila... Bleak Monday „ [Dixigas
Records]

Formed in Karlsruhe in december of 2022, Bleak Monday was inspired by the sound
aesthetics of 80s wave music as well as metal genres of the 90s and early 2000s. The
result is a unique mix of danceable synthwave, hard industrial sounds and hauntingly
bittersweet lyrics. Bleak Moday manages to create a dark, dystopian atmosphere through
the use of banging drum computers and analog synthesizers in addition to excessive vocal
and guitar effects
Bleak Monday deliver a unique and energetic live performance that will grab their audience
right by the throat and leave them in a trancelike state. All ptopped with a hint of sex
appeal and ecstatic despair. Since their first show in early 2023 Bleak Monday have
managed to gain a notable amount of attention and positive feedback within the scene.
This has led them to be invited to share the stare with artists like Das Kinn, Berlin 2.0,
Living Gate and The Body.
