SHIV doesn't fit in a box.

SHIV realized they were too rock for the country artists, too pop for folk artists, and they have a sound not heard since Pearl Jam with a mental health message as powerful as Shinedown and the late Chris Cornell.

Since then, SHIV's music has developed into a form all of its own, reaching all edges of the Alternative Rock genre. SHIV integrates the vocal styles of Chris Cornell and the sophisticated rock sounds of Led Zeppelin, Temple of The Dog and Pearl Jam. SHIV pays homage to the poetic lyricism of Shinedown, Alice in Chains, and The Doors. Most notably, SHIV plays with melodies, unexpected chord structures, and showcases their stunning vocal power and agility - all of which can be found in spades when listening to their latest EP, Narcissist. Produced by Cliff Greenberg at Studio 19, Narcissist features 5 original tracks, and one bonus track that showcase SHIV's timeless, soulful vocals, skillful craft, and bass-driven melodies.
