Mick Medew and Ursula 4

Mick Medew and Ursula Collie Medew are a couple in life and music.They formed in Brisbane in 2020 as a means to cope with Covid restrictions.
Mick Medew has been playing guitar,writing songs and performing since the age of 16.He found success with The Screaming Tribesmen,which he formed and fronted back in 1981 til 1996.He was the only original member in every line up.Ursula formed a band called Ironing Music playing drums,bass and then keyboards when they morphed into a synth pop band, from 1982 til 1986.
Brisbane is now their home and they have been performing regularly around Brisbane and regional Queensland.In November they went on an east coast tour playing in Newcastle and Sydney.
Their debut album appropriatly called,''Love Is Calling'' was releaed by i94 Bar Records in June 2022.A film clip for the title track was made and in November 2022,Love Is Calling Boxcar Remixes ,was released and is available on all streaming platforms as well a film clip on youtube.Their second album was released November 1st 2024 called In The Zone and the first single is Punk Grandma,which the film clip has gotten thousands of views on YouTube.
