About Flailing Idiot

We are Flailing Idiot, a pop punk trio from North County San Diego with Sammie Augusto (14 years old) on vocals and guitar, Miya (17 years old) on bass, and Lillee Gillum (17 years old) on drums. We play a mix of originals and covers with a Flailing pop punk twist. Our songs range from melodic tunes to powerhouse vocals to more hard hitting punk rock. We've recorded and released several songs available on all streaming platforms, with more originals always in the works.

Flailing Idiot has performed at well over 50 fairs, festivals, and venues, including opening up for singer-songwriter Jax, punk legends The Dickies, and femme punk band Bad Cop Bad Cop and recently performing on a lineup with artists such as CeeLo Green, Bishop Briggs, and Beach Weather for the Super Girl Surf Pro, the world's largest female surf competition.
