Still Pigeon

Still Pigeon's fresh brand of indie pop writhes with the tension and energy of a band who really came into their own out the back of the pandemic. Exposed, confessional lyricism gives way to brash synths and angular guitar lines, in playful pop structures inspired by North London contemporaries Lime Garden and Home Counties. Over the past two years, Still Pigeon have established themselves on the East London circuit, growing a loyal fanbase ('The Flock') and playing consecutive sold-out shows at the Jago, Servant Jazz Quarters, The Social, The Old Blue Last and Moth Club. Their gigs feel like a crazed house-party, with frontman Millie May Wild leading from the front (or the back if crowd-surfing) in displays of athleticism rivalling Amyl and the Sniffers. Still Pigeon have also taken their show to bigger stages, playing Truck, Wychwood and this year Glastonbury, and have received support from BBC Introducing, BBC R6, Southbank Centre's Future Sounds and Spotify's Fresh Finds UK.
