About Cat Crash
Cat Crash is an indie punk riot grrrl band from Connecticut. They bring a new spin to riot grrrl through an all-trans, AAPI lens. They are led by frontperson singer/bassist Cecil Yang (they/them), joined by Brett Cornball (he/her) on guitar and Briar Chung (she/they) on drums. They have influences from midwest emo, early 2000s pop punk, 90s grunge, and of course riot grrrls of the past and the present. In 2025, they plan to release their debut album.
