Hot Bodies

Hot Bodies is the stage name of GG Arev Kurdian, songwriter, performer, protean DJ and mother of ceremony of the Hot Bodies Club and Choir projects.
Their generous and creative approach extends from collective club trance to minimal songwriting and supports a vision of pop(ular) music like a sensorial communion of emotions.
They come back this year with a new record produced by Don Turi, (Jeanne Added, Chien Noir, etc.) oscillating between cold wave in chiaroscuro, synthetic songwriting and pop melodies.
Far from denying their desire for deconstruction and revolution, Hot Bodies reconnects with the evocative power of protest songs and minimalism claimed as an underlying heritage of (post)adolescent emotions.
Listening to these new pieces, we could convince ourselves that they only speak to us, that they only sing for us. Then, sensations, layers and images superimpose, we feel the elevation made possible by a music which touches universality, which closes wounds and invites forgetfulness.
The most beautiful revolutions begin closest to the heart, in the proximity of bodies and memories. With this new step, Hot Bodies lights a new fire, fueled by their past experiences and proves the singular purity of their creativity.
