Mark Ski

Mark Ski is a Hip-Hop DJ/Turntablist. producer, radio host and one of the founding members of the Northampton Hip-Hop scene.

With a reputation born from mixtapes and high profile gigs as Northampton's go-to Hip-Hop & scratch DJ, Ski has supported a who's who of artists from the worlds of Hip-Hop, Turntablism, Deep Funk & Acid Jazz including Jazzy Jeff, Pharoahe Monch, Grandmaster Flash, The Pharcyde, Norman Jay, Dirty Dike, The Brand New Heavies, Ruste Juxx, DJ Yoda, Craig Charles, Andy Smith, DJ Format, The Scratch Perverts and more.

His DJ sets combine elements of classic and contemporay Hip-Hop, Beats, Funk, Breaks & beyond, neatly blended with the DJ skills that have become his trademark. As official DJ for rapper FFSYTHO?! they have performed at Glastonbury, Readling & Leeds, Kendal Calling and Fusion festivals.

His music has been featured in iDJ magazine, 2DopeBoyz, Huff Post, Hip-Hop DX, received national and received national & international airplay from BBC Introducing, Soho Radio, DJ Premier, DJ Eclipse and more.

Ski hosts his award winning Funk by Funk show on UK station Inspiration FM in-between ongoing production work, DJ commitments & scratch features.
