About Andy Martin

Andy Martin is an award winning singer-songwriter with a knack for crafting indie-pop earworms. Born and raised in Cairns (Gimuy), Andy grew up playing in brass bands and studying jazz, before moving to Brisbane (Meanjin) in 2015. Since then, he has been selling out headline shows across the country, hitting festival stages, and perfecting his energetic live show.

Andy has an impressive list of supports under his belt, including: 10cc (UK), Ben Lee, The Rubens, Alex Lahey, The Whitlams, The Vanns, ASH (IRE), and PAIGE (NZ), to name a few. His debut album Reverie was released in late 2022 to widespread acclaim, and has racked up over 1M streams on streaming services.

His latest single, I Don’t Want to Go Out, produced by Aidan Hogg (G Flip , Hope D, Jaguar Jonze), gained editorial playlisting and was regularly played on Triple J and Triple M, with Triple J Music Director Claire Mooney sharing: "Catchy, charming, care-free and comes with a sound full of vibrance! Looking forward to hearing more Andy!"

Recently, Andy was handpicked by Angus and Julia Stone for an intensive mentorship in Sydney, working out of Studios 301. His 2024 trajectory has been astronomical, and he shows no signs of slowing down, with a sunny single set for release in October. Receiving praise from international tastemakers including Music Feeds, MTV, and CLASH magazine, Andy is emerging as a household name, with a disposition for earnest and honest creations.

Poppy Reid (Editor-in-chief: The BRAG Media/Rolling Stone Australia): "Andy won over all our hearts that night."
VICE Australia: "This is music for a craft beer commercial - it will make you money one day!"
