Demmers

Demmers is a band born from the shadowy streets of northern New Jersey, where the desire for escape is ever-present, and the landscape itself carries a touch of dark, haunting beauty. Formed in the fall of 2023 Demmers draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of musical influences—from the haunting early works of The Cure and The Chameleons to the raw energy of Bloc Party and Chain Cult.

Jerad Mione, who had been crafting songs in solitude, soon enlisted collaborators Tommy McGreevy, Brian Rothenbeck, and Matt Olsson to help bring the project to life. With years of experience in hardcore songwriting and punk culture, the band (with past ties to bands like Kirby Kiss, Lesser Minds, Spell It Out, and others) poured their collective energy into creating a sound that is both fresh and captivating.

Musically venturing into new wave and post-punk territories, while still maintaining the raw intensity and emotion of their past musical endeavors. Demmers is a new chapter for its members, combining the grit of punk with the atmospheric depth of post-punk, all framed by a distinctive Jersey gloom.
